Sara Rasmussen Joins UtilityCloud as Chief Revenue Officer to drive global expansion

We’re excited to announce that Sara Rasmussen has joined UtilityCloud as Chief Revenue Officer to lead the charge in expanding our innovative products to new markets.

Sara brings a surge of fresh energy to our talented and growing team, backed by a decade of proven success in scaling SaaS companies worldwide. Her career spans industries from banking to telecom. She has introduced mobile payment solutions to European banks and, most recently, built the #teltech category from the ground up while expanding to numerous markets including the US.

A graduate of KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sara is an industrial engineer with a passion for lean production, a strong background in IT and management consulting, and a reputation for challenging the status quo.

Driven by her search for a meaningful challenge and a team with bold ambitions, Sara’s enthusiasm for both the energy sector and our mission is already making a positive impact at UtilityCloud.

Our CEO, Torbjørn Hompland, shares his excitement:

“Sara brings a unique combination of grit, creativity and strategic thinking that fits perfectly with UtilityCloud’s vision. We are proud to have her join our team as we continue to scale across the Nordics and beyond. Her relentless drive, global reach and strong commercial track record will help us accelerate our mission to digitalize and automate the energy sector.”

Sara is equally excited about what lies ahead and expands on her choice to join the company:

“UtilityCloud is a kinder egg and an unpolished diamond at the same time. Three in one with massive potential for further growth. After the first call with Torbjørn I knew that this was the one.”

Sara elaborates further on the potential for UtilityCloud and her view on the future.

“So far, the company has grown in disguise and established themselves as one of the most innovative energy software providers globally. They’ve built the company step by step with the customers at the centre. This has created a great baseline for further growth. I’m super excited to join such a solid company and I can’t wait to see what we will achieve together.”

Please join us in welcoming Sara to UtilityCloud. We can’t wait to achieve great things together!
